Summary Remarks  During the revolt of Chyte Sing the Sepoys on the station of Gurrickpore became highly discontented, and the Rajah of that district long dissatisfied to see his whole Country routed by an English Surdar determined to redress them himself. The Commanding Officer sent express to Lucknow for assistance. Reinforcements were force marched there by Major Naylor. Major Naylor defeated the enemy and took the Rajah prisoner.
