Governor General, previous to his departure for Europe. Mr Bristow rose, and in short and appropriate speech offered a just tribute to the Governor General. The resolution moved by Mr Bristow, being read by him was seconded by Mr Graham. Mr Buller then moved that the committee consist of the following Gentlemen - Mr Graham, Mr Bristow, Mr Brooke, Mr Burroughs, Mr Vanderheyden, Mr Barlow, Mr Laird, General Deare and Mr Fairlie.
