Summary Remarks  The Right Honourable Lord Hobart, embarked from Madras, on the 20th ultimo, on board the Heroine Frigate, Captain Murray. The Heroine proceeds with the Company's ships, as far as the Cape, from whence she returns to India. Lord Hobart proposes to go to the Cape and embark upon the Ship Lushington bound for England. On the departure of Lord Hobart, the Government of Fort St George devolved on General Harris, appointed by the late orders from home, to be President in Council, till the arrival of his Excellency General Sir Alured Clark.
