Summary Remarks  The Ship Fleece, Captain Manning, with a cargo of grain for the Coast, got aground on the French Flat on the 10th .. and was totally lost. The Captain, pilot, and â�¦ twenty lascars perished with the ship. Mr Sparrow the supercargo, and the chief mate with several of the people got into the ship's boat, in which after drifting about for some time in a very heavy swell, they were fortunately picked up by the Liverpool, Captain Mayo.
