Entry  On the 8th of March last, in latitude 24.º31 South, longitude 68 ""24 East, on his homeward passage from Calcutta to Liverpool, on board the ship Horsa, of Liverpool, in his 17th year, Francis Henry, youngest son of the Rev. George Phillips, rector of Penmorfa and Dolbenmaen, in this county. Deceased fell overboard while in the execution of his duty, and was drowned: although every possible exertion was made to save him. He was highly esteemed by Capt. Bogart and his officers, and much liked by all the hands on board, who deeply regretted his premature death.
