CommentWANT A PHOTOGRAPH OF ONE OF THESE HEADSTONES?

This is one of the graveyards for which FIBIS commissioned Mr Rajat Sharma to take photographs and details of all legible headstones. All inscriptions are included wherever they are legible.

Inscription  Sacred to the Memory of Margaret West, the beloved weife of Corporal I. West R.A. who departed this life at Roorkee on 29th November 1903, aged 30 years and 8 months. Weep not for my Husband and Children dear, I am not dead but sleeping here. Remember me and pity take, and love the Children for my sake.
