This is one of the graveyards for which FIBIS commissioned Mr Rajat Sharma to take photographs and details of all legible headstones. All inscriptions are included wherever they are legible.

Inscription  Sacred to the Memory of Company Sergeant Major Edward Appleyard, the dearly loved husband of Sarah Appleyard, who died at Roorkee on the 4th of July 1892 aged 47 years. Also his son, Edward Appleyard who died at Roorkee on 19th March 1892, aged 1 year and 10 months. Etc.
