Added to the virtues which characterize the real Christian, nature had gifted her in a high degree with those qualities which adorn domestic life, and which create esteem in the circle of social intercourse. An affectionate wife, a tender mother, a fathful friend, and an amiable and engaging companion. No single virtue we could most commend, whether wife, the mother or the friend, for she was all, in that supreme degree that no one prevailed, so all was she, the several parts lay hidden in the piece. |
