Full entry  Richard Edmond Battley (sued in the Supreme Court by the name of Richard Edward Battley), a Lieutenant in the 22d Regiment of Native Infantry, in the service of the United Company of Merchants of England trading to the East Indies, on their Bengal Establishment, now stationed at Lucknow, in the province of Oude, late of Keitah, in the province of Bundlecund � a prisoner in the common gaol of Calcutta.
