Inscription  To the gentle memory of Lina, Lady Ridgeway, wife of the Right Hon Sir West Ridgeway, G.C.B., Governor of Ceylon, 1896-1903, who passed away at Brackwell, Berks, 16th June, 1907, this tablet is erected by her devoted husband and daughter in Nuwara Eliya, which she loved so well.
