Inscription  Lieut.-General John Fraser, Colonel of the 37th Regt., and for many years Deputy Quartermaster-General to the Troops serving in Ceylon, who died at Kandy ..... aged 72 years. A braave and accomplished soldier. A devoted and afectionate father. This tomb is erected by his surviving children.
