Inscription  In loving memory of Stephen Charles Vanderstraaten, Ceylon Civil Service, died at Galle on the 8th April, 1854, aged 49 years, and of his wife Harriet Frances, daughter of the late Dr. Bryan O'Connor of London, died at Jaffna on the 29th December, 1846, aged 35 years.
