Inscription  Sacred to the memory of Edward Tolfrey Esq, of His Majesty's Ceylon Civil Establishment, and the late Judicial Commissioner in the Kandian Provinces, who after a period of nearly 20 years' service in various parts of the Island died in Kandy on the 9th August, 1921.
