Inscription  Memoriae positum Gulielmi Coke equitis AediChristi Oxon Alumni studentis regis Britanici in hac usula concilio qui per annos decem rem juridicam hic administravit juris consultus regius socius judex praeses literis, humanioribus ornatissimus suavitate morum insignis, ingenio dulcis judicio sincerus suis benignus omnibus facilis et urbanus justitiae et propositi impavidus sed placide vindex bonos omunes sibi conciliavit concivibus dilectus indegenis veneratus quam carus vixit quam flebilis occidit nobis et posteris hoc marmor testetur. Natus Anglia in agro Derviensi, decessit Trincomalae, Kal Septembris 1818, aetat 43.
