Register Entry  Roll of Honour. The 101st Grenadiers. In glorious memory of Major Harold Tatum, Captains Frederick George Brown and Ivan Dayrell Meredith Hogg, Lieutenants Harold Richard Brookes, Robert Peyton Hughes and Hubert James Tudor Hamer 108th Infantry attached, also Lieutenant Gerald Haslam Cook wounded and died in captivity subsequently, Subhedars Dhondu Mane and Sivaji Rao Kale, Jamadars Anandrao Bhonsle, Muhammad Wajib Ali Khan, Dinkar Rao Yadhao and Govind Rane and the rank and file who gave their lives for their King and Country and fell at Tanga British East Africa upholding the honour of the Empire on the 4th November 1914. Also of Major Herbert Augustine Carter VC who died on active service in East Africa. Who dies if England live?
