Inscription  � Memory of Samuel Healey late Private in No 7 or Bt Major Watson's Comp HsMs 14th Regt Foot who was born in the parish of Wellborough Northampton and departed this life the 31st day of July 1826 aged 29 years. ""The time of Man does quickly fade. His thoughts but foolish are and vain. His days are like a fleeing shade of whose short stay no sign remains."" Erected by his comrades of the above coy as a mark of esteem for the deceased.
