Inscription  Sacred to the memory of Honora the beloved wife of Pte William Marshall 1st Battn 3rd Regt the ""Buffs"" who died on the 19th September 1867 aged 24 years and 2 months. And her daughter Margaret who died at Meerut on the 5th May 1867, aged8 months and 18 days. Also her son William who died in camp of cholera on the 11th of September 1867 aged 4 years and 4 months. Erected by their bereaved husband and father.
