Campbell, K.C.B., in Ava, who departed this life on the 20th of Dec. 1826, aged 40 years, 9 months and 13 days. By the death of Major Nicholson, the Army has lost a brave and zealous officer , and many of its members, a generous-hearted friend; whilst among his own immediate relatives his loss is most sincerely and deeply felt. |
