Detail  [Pages 542-543. At his residence on Blackheath Park, aged 84, of Cornhill. Succeeded his uncle William Richardson to the bookselling trade, who ran a shop opposite the Royal Exchange, which ""gave rise to an East India connexion to which the retail book-shop formed a mere ante-room"". Married, large family. ""His advice was constantly asked by men of the highest standing in India: and the children consigned from the East to his care for education exceeded his own very numerous family.""]
