He served in the campaign in Affghanistan and Beloochistan, including the storming and capture of Ghuznee and of Khelat; also the campaign in the Southern Concan and Sawant Warree country, including the storming of several stockades, and the investment and capture of the forts Monohur and Mansuntosh.
