Detail  Lately. At Samuliottok, Madras Presidency, aged 20, William Robert D'Oyly, esq. H.E.I.C.S. youngest son of the late Capt. D'Oyly, and nephew of the late William Bayley, esq. of Stockton-upon-Tees. He was for upwards of two years in the hands of the savages of Murray's Island, Torres Straits, after the murder of his parents and one of his brothers on their voyage from Sydney to India in 1834.
