Detail  [Pages 518-519. At Blackrock House, near Dublin, aged 76. Eldest son of Sir John Lees, the first baronet, by Mary, eldest dau. of Robert Cathcart, esq. of Glandusk, co. Ayr. His father was from the same county. Married in 1812 Sophia, dau. of the late Col. Lyster, of Grange, co. Roscommon. 3 sons & 2 daus. His heir, Sir John Lees, born 1816, married in 1839 Maria Charlotte, only dau. of the late Edward Sullivan, esq. of the Madras CS, granddaughter of Sir Richard Sullivan, Bt., by whom he has issue, and secondly a dau. of Sir James Caldwell of Beachlands, Isle of Wight]
