Detail  [At the house of his brother in law, James Lee, in his 67th year. The last descendant in the male line of a family that settled in England in the 17th century. Simon Verelst was a painter. His brother Herman, also a painter, was the great grandfather of Harry Verelst, Governor of Bengal, who in 1771 purchased Aston Hall and other estates in Yorkshire from Lord Halifax, and by Anne, coheir of Josiah Wordsworth, esq. of Wadsworth near Doncaster had four sons including the late deceased]
