Detail  [In his 77th year. Born 5 Sept 1773 the 2nd son of Charles 1st Marquess of Ely. He succeeded to a large portion of the Tottenham estate and hence did not use the name of Loftus. Married 21 May 1807 the Hon. Alicia Maude, 6th dau. of Cornwallis 1st Viscount Hawarden. 10 sons & 1 dau. including Cornwallis Tottenham, esq. EIC CS and Ashley Tottenham, in the EIC's native cavalry]
