Detail  [At Avisford, near Arundel. 3rd son of Thomas Reynell, army officer, killed at the Battle of Saratoga. Ensign 1793. Was aide-de-camp to Sir John Cradock and to the Marquess Cornwallis, in India, and was with the latter at the time of his death at Ghazepore. Was then military secretary to the Commander in Chief at Madras, and deputy quartermaster general of the king's troops in India. Returned to England in 1808. Was made C.B. in 1826 for his services in command of a division at the siege of Bhurtpore]
