Detail  At Digga Dinapore, aged 66, Major-Gen. George Cooper, commanding the Dinapore Division of the Bengal army. He was a cadet of 1798, attained the rank of Colonel in 1829, and was appointed to the Colonelcy of the 34th Native Infantry in 1834.
