Detail  [Pages 636-638. At Torquay aged 83. Born Vallon Wood, Somerset. Midshipman 1779. In 1783 went to the East Indies in the Cygnet sloop of war, then served in the Bristol, 50. Married 7 Nov 1799 the Hon. Elizabeth de Courcy, 2nd dau. of John Lord Kingsale, 3 sons, the first 2 are officers R.N., the third was an officer in the Bengal Horse Artillery and was killed at the battle of Moodkee, on the Sutlej, 19 Dec 1845]
