Detail  [Pages 97-98. At Venice, in his 70th year. In 1798 as a Lieutenant with the 84th Foot went from the Cape of Good Hope to India. Shortly after his arrival, was on the staff of an expedition to capture the island of Perim in the Red Sea. His health having suffered severely, he returned to Europe with a sick certificate]
