Detail  Officers slain in India. In the Battle of Sobraon, Feb. 10. Lieut. Walter Yonge Beale, of H.M. 10th Foot, third son of the late Thomas Beale, esq. of Heath House, Shropshire, and grandson of the late Richard Salwey, esq. formerly Major 25th Light Dragoons, and Colonel Commandant of the Ludlow Volunteers. He was appointed Lieutenant April 2, 1842.
