Detail  Officers slain in India. In the Battle of Sobraon, Feb. 10. Lieut. John Simpson Rawson, officiating Deputy Assistant Qartermaster-general (sic) of the 2d Infantry Division. He was appointed Lieutenant in the 63d regiment of Bengal Native Infantry, Oct. 14, 1841.
