Detail  Officers slain in India. Of wounds received at Moodkee. Major Todd, whose services were noted in pp. 429, 430, was one of the sons of the late Fryer Todd, esq. a merchant, in Bury-street, St James's, Westminster (by his wife, Miss Evans, the ""Mary"" of Coleridge), elder brother of William D'Arcy Todd, esq. K.G.L.; both of whom were sons of William Todd of Kendal, co. Westmorland (son of Fryer Todd, esq. of West Auckland, co. Durham), by Margaret is wife, only child of Marmaduke Bowes, esq. of co. Durham. Major Todd married Marian, daughter of Dr Sandham, of the 16th Lancers.
