Detail  At Cheltenham, aged 61, Major-Gen. Philip Le Fevre, of the Bengal Army. He received his first appointment to the service in 1799, attained the rank of Colonel in 1831, and was appointed Colonel of the 24th Bengal infantry in 1834 [Page 654, June issue, summarises his will. His brother William James Le Fevre was his general executor and Lieut.-col. Christopher Godby, Bengal Establishment, was his executor in India. Mentions wife, his brother John Le Fevre. Mentions he had earlier lived at Southampton]
