Details (mostly from memorial inscription)   1/6th Gurkha Rifles, died in a polo accident at Kakul near Abbottabad. --??July 1927. (Also a plaque erected by officers and men of the battalion, near his grave, In Memoriam).

Further details:
He was one of the authors of the celebrated Historical Records of the 6th Gurkha Rifles, 1817-1919 (Vol.1, Aldershot, 1925) and a popular officer and polo-player.
