CommentDeaths as reported in Domestic Occurrences in the Times of India 1900 editions. The use of (more) at the end of an In memorial or death notice is because the rest of the entry is considered of little use to family researchers, eg poems, scripture, etc.

Register Entry  In loving memory of Adeline Beatrice the dearly beloved wife of James Cummings Bombay Municipality and eldest daughter of George and Mary Ann McGill of Kolhapur who departed this life in perfect trust in her Saviour on Thursday the 16th February 1899. She left behind her her sorrowing husband and three little children, her parents, and brothers and sisters who this day mourn their loss in deepest woe. ""O, in some dream of visioned bliss, Some trance of rapture, show, Where, on the bosom of thy God, Thou rest'st from human woe! Thence may thy pure devotion's flame On us, on us decend: To us thy strong aspiring hopes, Thy faith, thy fervours leud.""
