Native village and country  Born at Comillah, Tipperah. Family reside at present at Surbition [sic], near London.    
Particulars of family as far as known; if any relative in the country  Mother Mrs R H Russell, resides at Surbition. Mr H H A Russell, Townad Mercers, Coorg, brother. D C M Russell, Civil Surgeon, Chupra, cousin. Colonel W C Russell, RA, Deputy Inspector-General of Ordnance, Calcutta, is also believed to be a cousin of deceased. Captain W E Forbes Gonda, Oudh, a connection by marriage.    
If any property left, and in what custody  Bulk of property is at Shahjehanpur in custody of Mr H G Lloyd, Assitant Dub-Deputy Opium Agent. There is also some at Fatehgurh with Mr T E D Innes, Assistant Sub-Deputy Opium Agent. There are deposits in the Bank of Bengal and Delhi and London Bank, Lucknow.    
Remarks  It is believed that Captain Forbes has applied for letters of administration.
