Approving of my proposal to dispense with the services of Mr Henry James, Engraver, on the termination of his period of agreement, and directing me to provide him with a second class passage to England, ? Mr H James' services were despensed with on the afternoon of the 10th July on the completion of certain work he had then in hand, and he was informed that a second class passage per P and O Steamer would be provided him on his intimating that he was ready to avail himself of it ; but I regret to say that he died in the General Hospital, Calcutta, on the 24th July. |
