Particulars of family as far as known; if any relative in the country  His father, Rev J Findlay, is the Rector of the Parish Church of Wellington in Cumberland. Mr Thomas Gaskill, Commander of India General Steam Navigation Company's Flat 'Krishna', is believed to be a relative of Mr Findlay.    
If any property left, and in what custody  Deposit of Rupees 240 in the Sailors' Home, and of Rupees 113, with a few personal effects, in the Master Attendant's Office. Pay from 1st to 4th June 1875, Rupees 13-5-4, undrawn.
