Remarks  From 7173, ""I regret to report ?the death of Captain WEJ Pearson, of the Bengal Marine, on the 28th instant. He was a zealous and hard-working officer, and ably conducted for many years the duties of Marine Surveyor. His loss in the the Department will not be easily supplied. Mr Pearson served Government in the Survey Department for nearly nineteen years.""
