He was of Gonville and Caius college, Cambridge, B.A. 1834; was presented to the rectory of St Clement's, Norwich, by that society in April 1839; and received his appointment at Madras from the Society for the Propaganda of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, in Aug. 1841. |
