Detail  [Pages 313-314. At Escot Lodge, aged 77. Born Exeter 6 March 1758, brother Richard Kennaway noticed in this magazine in 1832, sailed to India in 1772 as a cadet, in company with said brother, linguist, envoy to Nizam of Hyderabad, whom he persuaded to enter into an alliance against Tippoo Sultaun, made a baronet in 1791, returned to England in 1794, from 1796 received £500 pension annually from EIC, married in 1797 Charlotte Amyatt, 4 sons and 5 daughters, including Lawrence, Bengal CS, died at Allahabad in 1822, and William Richard, who married in 1831 Eliza, daughter of George Poyntz Ricketts, Bengal CS]
