The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1829: Writer. 1832: Second Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Ganjam. 1835: Acting Register of the Zillah of Rajahmundry, and Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Chicacole. 1836: Officiating Assistant Judge, &c., at Chiacole. 1837: Register of the Zillah of Rajahmundry. 1838: Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Rajahmundry. 1839: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Masulipatam. 1840: Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Rajahmundry. 1843: Sub-Judge at Rajahmundry. 1844: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Masulipatam, and at Rajahmundry. 1847: Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1850: In India, and without employ for seven months; Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Trichinopoly. 1851: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge at Guntoor, Appointment subsequently confirmed. 1855: Inspector-General of Jails. 1866: Resigned the service, 21st February. (Annuitant.)
