The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1835: Writer. 1836: Under Principal Collector of Canara. 1837: Doing Duty as Assistant to Principal Collector of Canara. 1838: Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1839: Acting Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Canara; and Acting Register to the Zillah Court of Chittoor. 1841: Register to the Zillah Court of Bellary, and Acting Head Assistant, subsequently Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1842: Acting Register to the Zillah Court of Canara. 1846: Acting additional Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Canara. 1848: Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1852: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Chingleput. 1853: Sub-Judge at Salem. 1856: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Salem. 1857: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore; Collector, Magistrate and Agent to the Governor of Madras, in Vizagapatam. 1859: Without employ. On private affairs to England for 6 months. 1861: Acting Collector and Magistrate of Madras. 1862: Collector and Magistrate of South Arcot. 1871: Resigned the service, 26th March. (Annuitant.) Died, 27th April 1884, in England.
