The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1796: Writer. 1797: Assistant under the Secretary to the Board of Trade. 1798: Assistant under the Secretary to the Board of Revenue, and Assistant to the Accountant-General. 1799: Head Assistant to the Collector of Dindigul. 1800: Collector in the Southern Division of the Canara Districts. 1805: Principal Collector of the Southern Division of Arcot. 1809: In charge of the Revenues of Cuddalore and Pondicherry. 1813: At home. 1818: Out of the service. Elected a Director of the East India Company, 14th July 1819. Died, 6th June 1840, at Crawley, Surrey.
