The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1825: Writer. 1827: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Coimbatore. 1828: Head Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Coimbatore; Head Assistant to the Principal Collector of Chingleput. 1829: Deputy Tamil Translator to Government. 1830: Junior Deputy Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1831: Senior Deputy Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1837: At home on absentee allowance. 1840 Returned to India. 1841: Sub-Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1843: Collector and Magistrate, Masulipatam. 1852: Out of employ. 1854: Civil Auditor and Superintendent of Stamps. 1855: Resigned the service, 1st May, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1856.) Died, 9th December 1879, in England.
