The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1807: Writer. 1810: Assistant to the Chief Secretary in the Secret, Political and Foreign Department. 1811: Assistant to the Collector of Bellary. 1814: Head Assistant to the Collector of Bellary. 1816: Assistant Magistrate of Bellary. 1819: Employed in the late Peishwah's Dominions. 1822: At home. 1824: Returned to India. 1825: Principal Collector and Magistrate of the Northern Division of Arcot. 1827: Principal Collector and Political Agent at Dharwar, under the Bombay Government. Died, 5th August 1834, at Dharwar.
