Summary of Service  1821: Writer. 1825: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of the Northern Division of Arcot. 1826: Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Salem. 1827: Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Chingleput. 1828: Head Assistant to the Principal of Coimbatore. 1830: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Malabar. 1932: Deputy Accountant-General; Acting Mint-Master; Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge of Chingleput. 1836: At home on absentee allowance. 1839: Returned to India; Acting Judge and Criminal Judge of Salem. 1840: Judge and Joint Criminal Judge of Salem. 1842: Third Judge of the Provincial Court of Appeal and Circuit, Southern Division. 1844: Civil and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry. Died on his passage to Europe, 3d October 1844, on board the ""Samarang.""
