The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1825: Writer. 1827: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Nellore. 1828: Head Assistant to the Principal Collector of Nellore; Head Assistant to the Principal Collector of Tanjore. 1830: Acting Additional Sub Collector of Salem; Additional Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Tanjore. 1832: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Tanjore. 1836: At home for his health. 1838: Returned to India per ""Windsor"". 1839: Acting Principal Collector and Magistrate of Bellary. 1840: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tanjore. 1841: Principal Collector and Magistrate of Tinnevelly. 1843: Collector and Magistrate of Tanjore. 1847: Secretary to Government in Revenue and Judicial Department. 1850: Chief Secretary to Government. 1855: Chief Secretary to Government; Provincial Member of Council; afterwards Member of Council, and Chief Judge of the Sudder Dewannee and Sudder Foujdarry Adawluts. 1857: Resigned the Service 29th October, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1859.) Died, 24th June 1878, in England.
