Summary of Service  1824: Writer. 1828: Head Assistant to the Principal Collector at Madura. 1832: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Tinnevelly. 1835: At home on absentee allowance. 1838: Returned to India overland. 1839: Acting Civil Auditor and Superintendent of Stamps. 1840: Collector and Magistrate, Bellary. 1850: Resigned the service, 5th November, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund 1851.) Died 16th July 1878, England.
