The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1830: Writer. 1832: Register to the Zillah Court of Canara. 1834: Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Malabar. 1835: Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Canara; Acting Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1836: Register to the Zillah Court of Canara. 1837: Additional Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Canara. 1841: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Canara; Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1845: Acting Assistant Judge, Mangalore. 1846: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1850: Agent to the Governor of Madras, at Kurnool; Collector and Magistrate, Canara. 1855: Acting Member of the Board of Revenue. 1856: Financial and Judicial Commissioner of the Hyderabad Assigned Territories. 1858: On medical leave to Europe. 1859: Resident at Travancore and Cochin. 1861: On medical leave for 6 months. 1862: Resigned the service, 1st May. (Annuitant.) Died, 27th August 1877, in North Britain.
