Description  Was the author�s [Minden J. Wilson�s] eccentric next door neighbour at Kumtoul, late 1847. Had charge of machinery at Purhehar Factory. Had imbibed too freely en route, so �had been put down at Kumtoul to recover himself before continuing on his way to Mozufferpore. He had been a professional singer before he took to engineering, which accounted for the midnight entertainment he had favoured me with. He only remained a few hours my brother�s guest, and that was the last we ever heard of him.�
